Paris: A few hours before the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024, the situation worsened, protesters attacked three high-speed train routes.
The protesters vandalized and set fire to the railway station, paralyzing the railway system. Following this, security in Paris was tightened and passengers were stranded at stations.
French rail company officials said the attack was aimed at paralyzing the train system. A large-scale attack has been launched to paralyze the railway network, with many trains canceled and others given alternative routes.
Officials say that the fault in the system has been repaired to a large extent and the movement of trains has been restored, but it will take a week to completely fix the system.
