Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq rejected the request to disassociate himself from the case against the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the new Tosha Khana reference.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq heard the arrest plea against the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi in the new Tosha Khana case.
During the hearing, Imran Khan’s assistant lawyer Intizar Panjhota objected to Chief Justice Amir Farooq and took a stand that a reference had been filed against him in the Supreme Judicial Council.
He requested the court not to hear the case of the PTI founder. Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that you are saying to separate from the case.
The lawyer said that yes, we want to withdraw from the hearing. The Chief Justice remarked that there was no reason, the court rejected the objection of the complainant to hear the case in the Supreme Judicial Council.
