Islamabad: A decrease of 397 million dollars was recorded in the government foreign exchange reserves during the last week, while the total volume of national reserves has reached more than 14 billion 33 million.
According to the data released by the State Bank, the official foreign exchange reserves decreased by 397 million dollars during the last week to 9 billion 272 million dollars.
The central bank said that commercial banks have deposits of 5 billion 308 million dollars.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the value of the country’s total reserves was recorded at 14 billion 335 million dollars on the week ending July 19.
The statement said the State Bank will announce the monetary policy on July 29.
