Lahore: Pakistan Peoples Party has announced to celebrate the birthday of President Asif Ali Zardari.
In a statement issued by the Pakistan People’s Party, it has been said that on July 26, the 69th birthday of President Asif Ali Zardari will be celebrated by the People’s Party as ‘President’s Day of Pakistan’.
According to PPP leader Faisal Mir, two major events have been held in Lahore. On July 25, a ceremony will be held at the Governor’s House in which former Prime Minister of Pakistan and People’s Party Central Punjab President Raja Pervez Ashraf will be the chief guests.
In this function, the birthday cake will be cut and will be attended by Jayale.
Similarly, the second event will be held at Minar Pakistan in the form of a musical show. This event has been organized by PPP ticket holder Faisal Mir.
The second ceremony will be held at Minar Pakistan Ground on the night of July 25, and the first ‘President’s Day of Pakistan’ ceremony will be attended by former Prime Minister and PPP Central Punjab President Raja Pervez Ashraf as the special guest.
The program will be hosted by Ayesha Jahanzeb. Singer Nimra Mehra and Sahir Ali Baga will grace the event with music. On behalf of Faisal Mir, a resolution will be presented regarding the celebration of President’s Day every year.
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will address the birthday celebration and fireworks will be displayed at 12:00 pm. At the end of the ceremony, the President’s Day of Pakistan cake will be cut.
