New York: Supreme Court judge Justice Athar Minullah has said that I want the courts to be open whenever there is a threat of martial law.
Justice Athar Manullah while addressing the New York Bar said that on April 9, 2022, a channel created such an environment as if martial law is going to be imposed. When General Zia removed an elected Minister of Defense, I wish the courts were open even on October 12 when Pervez Musharraf threw out a prime minister.
Justice Athar Minullah said that if someone had tried to remove Prime Minister Imran Khan, it would have been our test, it would have been the test of the Islamabad High Court whether it stands for the supremacy of the Constitution or not.
