LAHORE: A video link meeting was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Additional IG Investigation Punjab Muhammad Idris, in which other officers including AIG Monitoring and DSP Monitoring Punjab participated, to check the performance of all in-charge investigations of the province. A briefing was given on the performance indicators for 2023, the rate of arrest and challan of accused involved in serious cases in 2023 was reviewed, the arrest of A-category advertisers, and the investigation of cases related to women and children were considered. In important cases, SPs and DSPs themselves will reach the spot in every case, Additional IG Investigation has directed the SDPOs of Punjab and all in-charge investigations to improve efficiency.
