Sahiwal: Action on the news of Dawn TV and Daily Dawn, order for the cleanliness of Baba Farid Park and other areas including Shadman Town Ahmed Block. Dawn TV Bureau Chief Rana Waheed filed this news in Sahiwal. Sahiwal Additional Commissioner Coordination Shafiq Ahmed Dogar has said that no minute should be spared for efficient provision of municipal services in Sahiwal city and all possible resources should be utilized to develop the city and solve the people’s problems. He said that cleaning the sewage lines of Baba Farid Park, Shadman Town, Ahmed Block, Soori Street, Round Circle, Morwala Chowk, and Sarafa Bazar should be continued and completed on a priority basis. He said that the switches for turning on and off the street lights should be installed in a prominent place and the schedule of turning on and off the lights should be strictly implemented. The speed of the ongoing work on the high street should be accelerated and the debris should be removed immediately during the work so that the citizens do not have to face problems like traffic jams.
He further said that the sewage works on Pakpattan Road, College Road, and University Road should be completed on a priority basis.
