Lahore: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former federal minister Shafqat Mehmood has announced to quit politics.
On Sunday, he wrote in an ongoing statement on the social media website X that after much deliberation, he has decided to retire from politics. It is intended.
He said that this announcement is only about separation from politics and it is related to the requirement of time and age and he wants to dedicate his remaining life to writing and teaching.
