LONDON: The outage of Microsoft’s cloud computing suites has disrupted services for companies worldwide as flights have been grounded, news outlets have been unable to continue broadcasting and businesses have been unable to transact.
There were reports of service shutdowns in Australia, the US, the UK, and India, affecting everything from banks, media houses, and stock markets to government offices and airports.
Due to the suspension of the service, many planes were grounded in America, and passengers in Australia also had to wait due to the cancellation of flights.
A Microsoft service outage at Australia’s Superstore has led to queues of non-payment customers.
Apart from this, citizens are facing difficulties due to technical problems in many other countries including the UK, Canada, India, Malaysia, and Singapore.
