KARACHI: The robbers allegedly started the incidents by wearing the uniform of the law enforcement agency.
Using the uniform of the law enforcement agency, the accused committed the crime at Pakwan Center located in Block 13D area of Gulshan Iqbal, the CCTV footage of which also came to light.
In the footage, it can be seen that an accused, wearing a law enforcement agency uniform and a P-cap, escaped by snatching mobile phones and cash from the people present at gunpoint.
In this regard, SSP District East Dr. Farrukh Raza says that the incident was carried out by force of arms. The affected citizen has been contacted while further investigation of the incident is being conducted under the supervision of SP Gulshan Iqbal Aleem Balu.
He said that a thorough investigation has been started on all aspects regarding the incident, while footage from outside the Pakwan Center is also being obtained to get more information about the incident.
