Lahore: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has indicated the possibility of heavy rains across Punjab on the 8th and 9th of Muharram. DGP PDMA Irfan Ali said that the management of Muharram processions should take precautionary measures keeping in mind the severity of the weather. Expressing the fear of flooding in the hilly areas of Dera Ghazi Khan has directed that the rescue organizations should be especially alert on 8 and 9 Muharram.
