Trump’s popularity and support surged after the assassination

Muhammed Mauduz

Washington: The former US President Donald Trump, who narrowly escaped being shot by an attacker during an election rally, has gained worldwide sympathy and national popularity.

According to the World News Organization, as soon as the failed assassination attack on Trump was reported, the telephones were blocked by world leaders to inquire about the well-being of President Trump.

World leaders condemned the attack and pledged their support. The American people have also sympathized with Donald Trump over the incident, while a new wave of enthusiasm has spread among his supporters.
America’s most powerful billionaire businessmen and leaders as well as the public have assured Trump of their support on social media. A number of public opinion polls today are showing a rise in Trump’s popularity graph.

Donald Trump’s lead over Joe Biden in the US presidential debate has been solidified after the failed assassination attempt.

Meanwhile, the ruling party Democrats are under increasing pressure to field a new candidate due to Joe Biden’s aging, failing memory and amnesia.

It remains to be seen whether the Democrats will succeed in reviving the electorate by throwing this last card and what strategies they will adopt to face the flood of Trump’s popularity.
