ISLAMABAD: The leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have demanded a hearing on the petition filed for the recovery of the leaders from the Supreme Court, saying that our members of the National Assembly and other leaders have been picked up.
In Islamabad, PTI leader Barrister Gauhar, while holding a press conference along with other leaders, said that PTI was and will remain the strongest political party. It was said that if the remaining 41 members submit their affidavits, they will be PTI members.
He said that we have submitted the affidavits of 25 people, since the order of the Supreme Court, our Member National Assembly Amir Sultan has been picked up, our colleague Rizwan and the brother of Member National Assembly Fayyaz Chichda has been picked up. Yes, his 16-year-old son was tortured and his voices were told to his mother.
Barrister Gauhar said that the Supreme Court has ordered that no one should be picked up illegally, requesting the Supreme Court to hear our petition and release those who were picked up.
They said that Sanam Javed was in jail for 14 months, she was arrested again after her release today, which we condemn, Bibi was arrested again after her release yesterday, we also condemn it. .
The PTI leader said that by tomorrow we will submit all our affidavits to the Election Commission, on the direction of the Supreme Court, we demand that the names of these people be released on the Election Commission website immediately.
Regarding the attack on the former US President, Barrister Gohar said that we condemn the attack on Donald Trump, thankfully he survived the attack, on behalf of the Pakistani people and PTI we condemn this attack.
He said that the members of the National Assembly have submitted affidavits with their signatures on the decision of the Supreme Court.
He said that the Supreme Court has taken a very good decision, none of our assembly members are angry, only three members are out of the country, we will not form the government with any party present in the parliament at the moment.
Barrister Gauhar said that our discussion with Maulana Fazlur Rehman is going on and he will be with us soon.
PTI leader Atif Khan said that the way this government is running the country does not run, every institution should be brought under the law, we request the Supreme Court to take notice of it, those who are elected. They are standing with PTI.
He said that if the round-up is started again and press conferences are held, it will not work.
Starting a campaign against the Chief Election Commissioner, Rauf Hassan
PTI spokesperson Rauf Hassan said that we are launching a campaign against the Chief Election Commissioner, the accused who have been marked by the Supreme Court should be removed from these seats.
He said that Sharifs, Zardaris have put this country on the brink of destruction, those who are supporting them are also criminals.
They said that our mandate should be returned to us through new elections or petitions. A member’s 16-year-old child was picked up and his mother was heard screaming. We request the Supreme Court to pick up these people and punish them. The Supreme Court should summon the Chief Election Commissioner and punish him.
Rauf Hasan said that now the party is ready to respond to whatever it does.
