Islamabad: The Power Division has issued a notification to increase the basic tariff of electricity for domestic consumers by 7 rupees and 12 paise.

According to the ongoing notification, the basic electricity tariff for domestic consumers has been increased to Rs.7.12 per unit, after which the basic electricity tariff for domestic consumers has reached Rs.48 and 84 paise per unit.
