Sahiwal: A condemnation meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Press Club Rana Javed Nisar for sending legal notices and harassment to journalists by Sahiwal police officers. In the meeting, the members of the press club and senior journalists were condemned for harassment by the police officers by sending legal notices. A nationwide protest will be held on behalf of the country’s journalists and other national journalist organizations. President Press Club Rana Javed Nisar expressed regret over the behavior of the police and said that there is no such example in the past to suppress the journalists and stop the news. Harassment through legal notices and telephone is not acceptable.
