London: In the southwestern city of Bristol, the police have found two suitcases that are believed to contain human remains.
According to a report published on Arab News, police arrived on a bridge in Bristol in response to a complaint of the presence of a suspicious person and found bags containing human remains.
Avon and Somerset police arrived at Clifton Suspension Bridge within 10 minutes of the emergency call, but the suspect, who had arrived there in a taxi, disappeared before police arrived.
Speaking about the incident, Acting Bristol Commander Wicks Hayward Mellon said, “This is a very disturbing incident and I am also aware that it will cause concern in our community.”
Continuing his speech, he added that ‘our immediate priority is to trace the person who reached the bridge with the suitcase and to find out the identity of the deceased and inform his next of kin as soon as possible. .’
