Lahore: Indian media has claimed that the Indian cricket team will not play the Champions Trophy match in Lahore.
Indian cricket team will not come to Pakistan to play Champions Trophy matches. BCCI sources say that the BCCI will ask the International Cricket Council (ICC) to arrange the matches of the Indian team in Sri Lanka or Dubai.
The Champions Trophy is scheduled for February-March next year in Pakistan. According to reports, Pakistan has offered to hold all the matches of the Indian team in Lahore. Due to the tension between Pakistan and India, the Indian cricket team has not played a match in Pakistan since the 2008 Asia Cup.
The two teams last played a series in India in 2012.
