Islamabad: FIA Anti-Corruption Circle has arrested 3 officers of Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment involved in issuing protectors to unqualified nurses.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, the arrested suspects include Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment Director Saeed Khan, Director Gul Akbar and Assistant Director Ahmar Waheed, these officers were found involved in issuing protectors to ineligible nurses without NOC.
The accused were arrested after the bail was canceled by the court of Special Judge Central Rawalpindi.
According to the spokesman, the accused had issued illegal protectors to a total of 92 nurses who were later deported from Saudi Arabia.
The accused had carried out the illegal execution on the demand of Saudi Arabia’s Overseas Employment Promoter Company called Al-Mawdar.
The spokesperson of the FI says that the accused have been arrested and the investigation has been started.
