LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi was transferred from Adiala Jail to Lahore Kot Lakhpat Jail under tight security.
The judges of the Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore will hold a hearing in Kot Lakhpat Jail today. Jail sources said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be produced before the court in the May 9 tragedy cases registered in Lahore.
The JIT team of Lahore Police completed the interrogation of Shah Mehmood Qureshi in various cases of terrorism in Adiala Jail, after which he was to be presented before the Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s lawyer Barrister Taimur Malik said that the judges of the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court will hear the cases on May 9 in Kot Lakhpat Jail today.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be produced before the court in Kot Lakhpat Jail, after the court orders, it will be decided to keep Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Lahore or Adiala Jail, his legal team has also left for Lahore.
