LAHORE: A large number of students participating in post-graduation degree programs in King Edward Medical University, the oldest medical institution of Pakistan, have failed.
A large number of doctors have failed in post-graduation MD and MS programs at King Edward Medical University, which has raised serious concerns in the medical community.
All four candidates of MS Orthopedic Surgery Part II of the university failed while the candidates appearing for MS Plastic Surgery Part II also failed to pass.
All the candidates failed in the MS Neurosurgery final examination and all the candidates appearing in the MD Pulmonology final examination were also declared failed.
Similarly, none of the candidates appearing for the MD Internal Medicine final examination could pass, while only one out of 8 candidates appeared for the MS General Surgery final examination.
Only one out of four candidates passed the MS Urology Part III, MS Pediatric Surgery Final Examination and only one out of 5 candidates passed the MD Cardiology Part Two.
