London: The newly elected Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer, has started work on the formation of his cabinet, which includes seasoned and experienced politicians as well as newcomers.
The names of newly elected Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s cabinet ministers have started to emerge. Angela Ryner was appointed Deputy Prime Minister while Rachel Reeves was elected as Finance Minister.
Similarly, David Lemme will be the new Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom and John Haley will be the Defense Minister. Yvette Cooper was appointed as Home Secretary. The Ministry of Education fell to Bridget Phillipson.
Wes Streeting will be the health minister and Ed Miliband will be the energy minister, while Pakistani-born Shabana Mahmood will be the justice minister.
It should be remembered that in the general elections held in Great Britain, the Labor Party got into a position to form a government by getting 412 seats out of 650, while the Conservatives, who have been in power for 14 years, got 121 seats.
