RIYADH: The royal decree issued today announced the granting of Saudi citizenship to foreign experts and extraordinary talents with unique talents in the fields of religion, medicine, science, culture, sports and technology.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report, the royal decree states that foreign scientists, doctors, researchers, inventors, professionals, and entrepreneurs who contribute to the construction and development of the kingdom will be granted citizenship.
The royal decree states that this move is to achieve the goals of the Crown Prince’s Vision 2030 to make Saudi Arabia a favorite destination for the world’s best minds and attract exceptionally creative minds.
It should be remembered that in December 2021, highly educated foreigners with unique abilities were approved for citizenship, while in January 2023, the authority to grant citizenship was given from the Minister of Interior to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman confirmed the decision to grant citizenship to foreign talent under Vision 2030, which will be implemented immediately.
