Srinagar: A mosque was martyred and several houses were burnt to ashes in the fire that broke out in the capital of Occupied Kashmir.
A terrible fire broke out in the Eid Gah of Umar Colony in Srinagar, leaving the entire area filled with smoke and black clouds. Being the busiest area, there was chaos.
The fire brigade staff brought the fire under control after several hours of effort, but during this time a mosque was destroyed and many houses were completely burnt to ashes. Dozens of families were displaced.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. An inquiry committee was constituted for the investigation. Residents of the area complained that rescue agencies arrived late.
Residents said that the mosque could have been saved but the pro-Indian puppet administration showed religious hatred and their incompetence caused more financial loss.
