ISLAMABAD: At the beginning of the hearing of the case against the formation of election tribunals in the Supreme Court, there was bitterness between the Chief Justice and Tehreek-e-Insaf’s lawyer Niazullah Niazi.
Tehreek-e-Insaf’s lawyer Niazullah Niazi objected to the inclusion of the Chief Justice in the bench, which was rejected by the Chief Justice.
The Chief Justice remarked that why not send the case against Niazullah Niazi to the Pakistan Bar Council, are we sitting here to dishonor ourselves, enough is enough, we know that you are affiliated with a political party, continuous mockery of the judiciary. will not allow, or stop the mockery of the judiciary.
The Chief Justice also said that now the period of making the bench of the Chief Justice is over, the authority to make the bench is given to the Practices and Procedure Committee.
Referring to Imran Khan, Niazullah Niazi said that the person who is in prison has objected that the election symbol was taken away.
The Chief Justice said that we facilitated the video link from the jail, but the objection was not raised even then, Ali Zafar did not raise any objection in the intra-party election case, the series of defamation of institutions should stop, and headlines were used in newspapers. How the bench was formed, the era of popular decisions is over, now the committee has the authority to form the bench.
Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel also said that the courts do not operate on the wishes of the people.
It should be remembered that even before this, the Chief Justice and PTI lawyer Niazullah Niazi had a bitter exchange during the hearing of a case, and the PTI lawyer made serious accusations against the Chief Justice in a packed court.
