LONDON: Polling for 650 seats in the UK Parliament will be held tomorrow.

A sharp contest is expected between the Conservative Party, the ruling party for 14 consecutive years, and the Labor Party, the opposition party, on July 4. A party called Reform UK may also spring a surprise.

In tomorrow’s general elections, 50 million voters will exercise their right to vote for 650 parliamentary seats, for which more than 40,000 polling stations have been set up across the country.

More than 4,500 candidates are in the field in the general election. The voting process will continue uninterrupted from 7 am to 10 pm.

Public surveys are not giving positive indications for the ruling party this time. Reform UK will cut votes from the Conservative Party, which will benefit the opposition Labor Party.

Will the ruling party succeed in forming the government in the UK for the next 5 years or the opposition party will wake up? It will be decided tomorrow.
