London: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has finalized the 12 teams for the T20 World Cup 2026 scheduled to be held in India and Sri Lanka, due to which the Pakistani team avoided playing the qualifying round for the first time.
In the upcoming ICCT20 World Cup 2026, like this year, 20 teams will participate, which will be divided into 4 groups.
The joint hosting of the event will be entrusted to India and Sri Lanka, while in addition to them, the teams of Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, West Indies, Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Ireland have managed to make a direct place in the event while the other 8 Teams will be part of the tournament after participating in the qualifying round.
