Peshawar: Consultative Jirga organized by Pakhtoon Khaw Qaumi Jirga was held in the local hall of Peshawar.
The Pakhtun Khaw Qaumi Jirga rejected the operation as an international conspiracy, calling the army a major means of widening the gap between the government and the people. 80 thousand people have been martyred while 8 lakh people have been displaced. Operations are not going to bring stability to the country. Missing persons is a major problem that should be brought under the rule of law and all persons should be brought before the courts. Re-deployment of retired army officers in various provincial and federal institutions should be stopped. In the country, only Pakhtuns and the people of Balochistan are being pushed to the battlefield and efforts are being made to target them for operations through conspiracy, which will not be allowed under any circumstances.
