Karachi:167 employees were fired from Jinnah Hospital in Karachi.
The hospital authorities said that due to non-supply of funds, the jobs of 167 employees have been terminated.
The employees recruited during Korana were to be made permanent after 90 days, but every 3 months a new contract letter was provided to the employees.
Remember that these employees were to be made permanent after the budget this year.
On the other hand, the dismissed employees urged the management that the hospital was already facing a shortage of staff and they should not be sacked.
