Ambassador of Pakistan Masood Khan addressed the Annual Pakistan Conference: A Review of Pakistan-US Relations” organized by the Wilson Center’s South Asia Institute.

Washington: Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States, Masood Khan, has said that Pakistan and the United States should continue the process of restructuring their relations, maintain strong security ties, increase intelligence cooperation, and resume the sale of advanced military platforms. Support should continue to support and maintain Pakistan’s US-sourced defense equipment. He said that this is important for regional security and prevention of the rising tide of terrorism which is dangerous for the US and its allies.
Ambassador of Pakistan Masood Khan expressed these views while addressing the annual Pakistan conference titled “Looking at the Past, Looking at the Future: A Review of Pakistan-US Relations” organized by the Wilson Center’s South Asia Institute. The conference was jointly organized by the Willis Center and the International Academy of Letters USA.
Addressing the policymakers, scholars, intellectuals, corporate leaders, think tank community members, and Pakistani American community leaders, the Ambassador of Pakistan said that the future of Pakistan-US relations is bright. Ambassador Pakistan said that we have common values, our security and economic interests are intertwined, and it is the heartfelt desire of our two peoples that strengthens our relationship.
Ambassador Masood Khan thanked South Asia Institute Director Michael Kugelman and President International Academy of Letters, USA Ghazanfar Hashmi for organizing the successful conference.
