Lahore: With the help of Safe City in Lahore, a thief who stole valuable items by opening the locks of shops was arrested.
The thief used to steal from Anarkali Bazar, Hall Road, Hafeez Center, and other business places in the morning hours. The thief escaped after stealing 9 lakh rupees and 500 grams of gold from Sarafa Bazar. Laptops worth more than 4 million were also stolen from the electronic market.
The Safe City team received a burglary call at 15, upon which virtual patrol officers began searching for the thief. The team found the thief with the help of his robe, roots, and other signs and the police arrested the thief by taking timely action on the identification of Safe City.
According to the spokesperson of Safe Cities, FIRs of theft worth more than 2.5 crores were filed against the thief in various police stations in Lahore.
