ISLAMABAD: The arrest of the missing citizen Khurshid Ahmed from Azad Kashmir has been revealed, the Additional Attorney General told the court that Khawaja Khurshid is in the custody of the military.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the petition filed for the recovery of Khurshid Ahmed. The director of the Ministry of Defense appeared before the legal court.
During the hearing, the Additional Attorney General said that Khawaja Khurshid is in the custody of the military on charges of espionage, to which Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked that the man has been identified. The court directed the petitioner’s counsel you approach the appropriate forum as per law.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani inquired whether he is retired from the military. Additional Attorney General Mansoor Iqbal Dogal said that yes, he is retired from the military.
Counsel for the petitioner requested to give us a copy of his reply. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said that yes of course you can take a copy and refer to the relevant forum.
The court disposed of the petition related to the missing citizen.
