London: Lebanon on Sunday rejected a report by the British newspaper The Telegraph in which the newspaper claimed that “Hezbollah is storing weapons at Beirut International Airport”.

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), on Sunday, Lebanon’s Acting Minister of Construction and Transport, Ali Hamia, denied the presence of any weapons at Beirut’s international airport.

Ali Hamia has invited everyone for a review at Beirut International Airport on Monday, June 24 at 10 a.m.

According to NNA, Ali Hamia in a press conference at the airport called The Telegraph’s report “ridiculous” and said that “his country is going to take legal action against the newspaper, the details of which will be released soon.” .’

On the other hand, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) also in a statement on Sunday, in a statement of the British newspaper The Telegraph, declared the statement ‘attributed to unknown sources of IATA’ to be false.
