Toronto: Several Pakistani stars will participate in Canada’s Global T20 League.
The services of captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been acquired by Vancouver Knights, and fast bowler Mohammad Amir will also join the same team. Last season, the Vancouver Knights were defeated in the playoffs by the Montreal Tigers, who later became champions.
Mohammad Rizwan, who represented the same franchise last season too, has been retained in the team. The services of Shaheen Shah Afridi have been acquired by the Toronto Nationals, who will also be accompanied by all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz.
The fourth edition of GT20 will be played from July 25 to August 11.
