Peshawar: A heavy contingent of police has been deployed in the native area of a person who was killed on charges of blasphemy in Madin.
The spokesman of the Punjab Police said that a police force has been deployed outside the house of the deceased so that no incident of disturbance of peace takes place.
Locals and family members say that the man was 36 years old and was addicted to drugs and his wife had divorced him due to drug addiction and violent behavior.
The deceased was staying abroad for some time for employment.
His mother says that this person has not been in touch with the family for a year and a half. He also had a property dispute with his mother Shaista Parveen and brother and his mother also filed a case of rape against him in 2022.
His mother’s position is that they have permitted him and ‘we are not responsible for his words and actions.’
Mother Shaista Parveen said in a video message that her father died thirty years ago. After returning from abroad, we got him married, but he kept fighting with us, after which we gave him his share of the property and broke off the relationship.
