Islamabad: Under the leadership of opposition leader Umar Ayub, a rally was taken out from the National Assembly to the Election Commission office, PTI demanded the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner and the four members.
According to Dawn TV, Umar Ayub, Barrister Gohar, Asad Qaiser Zartaj Gul and other members of the National Assembly took out a protest rally from the Parliament to the Election Commission. During the rally, slogans were raised for the release of the PTI founder.
Speaking to the media outside the Election Commission, Barrister Gauhar said that the purpose of the rally from the Parliament to the Election Commission is to release the founder of PTI, our cases are getting history after history, and our women are being arrested again and again.
The opposition leader said that they have come out of the parliament against lawlessness, they are protesting peacefully, the chief election commissioner and the four members should resign immediately, the election commission has failed to conduct transparent elections, and around a hundred rallies to express solidarity with the prisoners. It has been withdrawn, the Chief Election Commissioner and members lied in the courts, they spent 16 billion and demanded 47 billion rupees, and they have failed to conduct a transparent election.
Umar Ayub said that they had stolen our seats, they had imposed from forty-seven people, why the SP city operator was making our video, and there should be an inquiry.
Talking to the media, Asad Qaiser said that there is a request for an urgent hearing of the case related to the military courts from the Supreme Court.
Zartaj Gul said that our words are not being heard in the Parliament, the truth cannot be suppressed, and twenty-five crore people are saying the same thing that the biggest leader of the country has been arrested because he has no competition at the political level. He cannot, so his wife has also been arrested.
Zartaj Gul further said that the founder of PTI should be released, I pay tribute to the founder of PTI for not going out on the pretext of illness on a stamp of fifty rupees.
Later, the PTI MLAs left for the Parliament.
