ISLAMABAD: Position leader Umar Ayub has demanded that Army Chief General Asim Munir immediately convene a formation commanders’ conference over the ‘intelligence failure related to CPEC’.
Addressing the National Assembly session, he said that the CPEC project is very important for Pakistan, there was a recovery of 426.4 billion rupees in the PTI government.
He said that from here I will demand Army Commander Asim Munir and the formation commanders to immediately call a corps commander, and formation commanders conference, and find out the reasons for this intelligence failure.
He said that three things are necessary for our regional sovereignty: national unity, which is currently fragmented, reliable defense depends on a strong economy, which is also fragmented at this time, we are under threat, I said.
