In compliance with the orders of National Highway Motorway Police Beat 15 N. 5 Sahiwal Inspector General Salman Chaudhry, Deputy Inspector General Motorway Police Shahid Javed, and Sector Commander Atif Ali Chaudhry, vehicles overloading passengers on the national highway and Eid rush. Strict action has been taken against the transporters and buses charging excess fare from the passengers by taking advantage of this. This campaign aims to stop the transporters from collecting excess fares by taking advantage of the Eid rush. Tasked to check the transport, the Motorway police officers are working hard to ensure that no passenger is overcharged. The overcharged transporters are refunding the fare to the passengers on the spot. In this regard, passengers are requested to inform the Motorway Police officers on the national highway in case of excessive fare or overloading or by calling the helpline 130. The action has been highly appreciated by the public and especially by the passengers.
