In the light of the orders of Sahiwal Deputy Commissioner and Administrator District Council Saima Ali, Chief Officer District Council Rana Ghulam Dastgir and officials ranked first in the cleanliness of the district.
On the instructions of Sahiwal Deputy Commissioner Saima Ali, Chief Officer District Council Rana Ghulam Dastgir along with his team set a record for disposing of the remains of Eid Qurbani from all over the area on the third day as well.
According to Dawn TV, under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Saima Ali, District Council Sahiwal established 37 collection points throughout the district, and each team performed their duties well to collect the remains of the sacrifice during Eid. District Council appointed Rizwan Ahmed Marth as the focal person of the arrangements they made, through which eco-friendly 75-micron shopper bags were also distributed free of cost to the public. The District Council staff hired loader rickshaws to lift the garbage on the three days of Eid. On the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner/Administrator Saima Ali, the holidays of the District Council officers and staff were also canceled to provide a clean environment to the public. The District Council officers and staff disposed of 95 tons of garbage while resolving 165 complaints on Eid-ul-Adha’s first, second, and third day to provide a clean environment to the villages and citizens. The officials posted at the control room established in the district council redressed the complaints received from the public. The in-charge control room Muhammad Laeeq Afzal performed his duties efficiently and redressed all the complaints received by the special branch. At 37 points, the Deputy Commissioner Chief Officer of the District Council and Rizwan Ahmed Marth, Regulation Officer of District Council Payam Ghani, Planning Officer Shiraz Ali Butt, Finance Officer Muhammad Shafiq, and other officers of the District Council conducted the three Eid celebrations. Citizens paid tribute to Deputy Commissioner and Administrator Saima Ali, Chief Officer District Council Rana Ghulam Dastgir Exin, and Focal Person Rizwan Ahmed Marth District Officer Regulation Payam Ghani by appreciating the special arrangements for excellent sanitation throughout Sahiwal.
