London: 6 players and 4 officials, including captain Babar Atam, have decided not to return to Pakistan with the team, but will come to the UK instead.
The national cricket team, which failed to qualify in the Super Eight round of the ICCT Twenty World Cup, will start its journey back to Pakistan from today. The players will reach Pakistan via Dubai on June 19.
According to Dawn TV, Daily Dawn, and Nawaye Waqt sources, 6 players including the captain and 4 officials are not coming back to Pakistan with the team. They plan to return to Pakistan after spending the holidays in London. I include Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, and Azam Khan, all of whom will be spending time with family and friends, some of whom are also in talks for the league in the UK.
