In Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) nominees Sardar Salim Haider and Faisal Karim Kundi have been appointed governors.
President Asif Ali Zardari approved the appointment of governors of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.
The President also approved the appointment of Sardar Salim Haider Khan as the Governor of Punjab and Faisal Karim Kundi as the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The President also approved the appointment of Jafar Khan Mandukhel as the Governor of Balochistan.
According to sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif sent the summary of Jafar Khan Mandukhel’s appointment to the President after the approval of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.
