Washington: The United States has started putting pressure on Qatar to expel the Hamas leadership from the country, while the Times of Israel has said that the Qatari government is ready to do so.
The United States is urging Qatar that if Hamas does not accept the conditions for a ceasefire, its leadership should be expelled.
In the report of the American newspaper, an official said that the US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken has conveyed a message to the Qatari Prime Minister that if the issue of a cease-fire in Gaza and the release of Israeli hostages by Hamas is not resolved, the Hamas leadership will be expelled from the country.
The newspaper claimed that three senior US officials with knowledge of the matter confirmed that a clear message had been given to Qatar that Hamas would close its political office in Qatar if it did not agree to the deal. The leadership of the organization should be expelled from the country.
The US Secretary of State says that Washington wants a ceasefire and the release of Israeli hostages by Hamas, and the only obstacle in this matter is Hamas, that is why we have proposed the expulsion of the Hamas leadership from Qatar and no delay in this. or excuse will not be acceptable.
On the other hand, the Israeli media has claimed that Qatar is ready to oust the Hamas leadership if there is no agreement on a ceasefire and the release of hostages under American pressure.
