Islamabad: In the Audio Leaks case, the Islamabad High Court has issued contempt notices to DGIB, DGFIA, and Chairman PTA and imposed a fine of five lakh rupees on the three institutions.
The Islamabad High Court dismissed the petitions filed by the IB, FIA, and Pemra against Justice Babar Sattar as malicious and wrote in the judgment that the petition was filed by the three agencies under a scheme to put pressure on the judge.

The court dismissed the objection petitions of PTA, FIA, IB, and PEMRA imposed a fine of five lakh rupees for filing the petitions, and ordered that this fine be paid by the authorizing authority from his pocket.
Apart from this, Justice Babar Sattar also issued a 40-page judgment on all four objection petitions against the judge, stating that the objection petitions from hearing the case are based on malice, FI, IB, PEMRA, PTA. filed the petitions together under a scheme, all four institutions tried to pressurize the judge through their petitions.
It is written in the judgment that the court is giving full opportunity to the parties on the issue of phone tapping of the citizens, meanwhile, it has come before the court that the federal government is incompetent to give the basic constitutional rights to the citizens.
