Sahiwal: Sahiwal Region Manager Pascoe gave open permission to the center in-charges posted at the centers to exploit the farmers. In the centers of two districts including Pakpattan, the Pasco in-charges reached a peak. Due to Pasco’s sale of Bardana in black, there is a lot of anger among the farmers. Farmers of Bonga Hayat, Longan Wali, Noorpur, Malika Hans, and Faridkot protested. Faridkot Bridge was closed. Raised slogans against the Pasco in-charge center and demanded the removal of the district. Farmers say that in other centers including the Pasco in-charge, the farmers are selling bardana to middlemen in other districts instead of adjacent areas. According to the sources, the farmer’s Trolleys full of wheat are coming from other districts. The farmers alleged that the bardana was also taxed per sack. When the wheat comes to the center, 102 to 103 kg are being forcibly weighed, which no one is asking. The farmers have demanded that Commissioner Sahiwal take notice.
