Oslo: Norwegian authorities have said that Pakistan has handed over a militant to Norway who is suspected of being the mastermind behind the shooting at the Pride festival in Oslo.
According to the French news agency AFP, on the night of June 25, 2022, a man opened fire outside two bars in central Oslo, a well-known gay club, a few hours before the Pride parade (gay and transgender). was also included.
Two people were killed and nine others were injured in this firing.
Zaniar Mutapour, a 44-year-old Iranian-born Norwegian citizen, is currently on trial and is accused of being involved in ‘terrorism’.
Mutapur has pleaded not guilty, but psychiatrists are divided about his mental health and his legal responsibility in the case.
