Australian squad announced for T20 World Cup, important players could not make it

Milburn: Cricket Australia has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup, important players could not be included in the squad, but all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been made the captain of the Australia T20 team.

Australia has announced the T20 World Cup 2024 squad starting from June.

The Kangaroos announced their 15-man squad today, with the final squad featuring all-rounders Marcus Stoins, Tim David, and Cameron Green along with Glenn Maxwell.

Mitchell Marsh will lead the team as captain.

Big names like veteran batsman Steve Smith, Jack Fraser-McGurg, fast bowler Jason Berendorff, and all-rounder Matt Short did not make the squad.
