London: England has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 and the series against Pakistan.
Fast bowler Jofra Archer has returned to the team after recovering from an elbow injury for almost a year while Jos Buttler has been retained as captain.
Under the leadership of Jos Buttler, the English team will defend the title in the T20 World Cup 2024. In the previous edition, England won the trophy by defeating Pakistan in the final.
Patan Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Jonathan Bairstow, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Ben Duckett, Tom Hartley, Will Jacks, Chris Jordan, Liam Livingstone, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Reece Topley and Mark Wood.
The same squad of the English team will participate in the 4-match T20 series against Pakistan, which will start from May 22.
It should be noted that teams can change their squads for the ICCT20 World Cup till May 25, after which the teams will need permission from the International Cricket Council.
