Sahiwal: 380 inspections were conducted in the district to check the price and weight of bread and naan, during which a fine of Rs.197500,1 FIR, one shop seal, and 9 arrests, Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Muhammad Aitzaz Aslam Marth said that he has urged the price control magistrates to strictly implement the instructions of the Punjab government regarding the price and weight of bread and naan. He said that pinna flexes should be displayed on all the hotels and tandoors in the city and adjacent areas concerning the rate and weight so that the buyers are aware. Action should be taken on the reports of the Special Branch and encouragement.
