Peshawar: A session judge posted in South Waziristan has been abducted by people armed with a tank.
According to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police officials, Sessions Judge Shakirullah Marwat has been transferred to an unknown location after the abduction.
The police further said that the session judge was going to Dera Ismail Khan from Tank and was abducted near Dera Road Bhagwal.
“The kidnappers left the car and driver of Sessions Judge Shakirullah Marwat and took him along.”
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, taking notice of the abduction of the Sessions Judge in DI Khan, has directed the IG Police for the safe recovery of the judge.
He said steps should be taken on an emergency basis to recover the judge and all available resources should be used.
