The decision of Muslim League (N) to remove Shehbaz Sharif from the party presidency

Arash Hayat

Lahore: Muslim League (N) has decided to remove Shehbaz Sharif from the party presidency and former president and leader Nawaz Sharif will be given the leadership of the party again.

Sources recently told Nawa-i-waqt London, Dawn, and Dawn TV that Shahbaz Sharif is not able to give time to the party due to being the Prime Minister, and due to his busyness, the party is suffering organizationally.

He said that it had been decided to remove Shahbaz Sharif from the post of President given the lack of time due to his busy schedule and the damage caused to the party.

Sources said that in the meeting, the leaders also complained about Ahsan Iqbal’s failure to fulfill the responsibilities of the party after becoming the federal minister.

Given the complaints, Ahsan Iqbal is also likely to be removed from the post of Secretary General of the party, and in his place, Khawaja Saad Rafiq is being declared as the favorite for the post of Secretary General of the party.

On the other hand, in the organizational meeting of Muslim League (N) Punjab, a resolution was passed in favor of making party leader Nawaz Sharif as the president.

The organizational meeting of the Muslim League (N) Punjab was held under the leadership of the provincial president of the party, Rana Sanaullah, in which a resolution was presented to make Nawaz Sharif the president again.

The text of the agreement said that Mian Nawaz Sharif was disqualified in 2017 under a conspiracy and was forcibly deprived of the presidency of the Muslim League (N).

In this regard, it was said that today the conspiratorial orders and fake punishments have reached their end and we express full confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
