Sahiwal: Boiling drains, dilapidated roads, and no water drainage in the village of 66-12-L in the suburbs of Sahiwal, the residents of the village are worried. The Punjab government has spent crores of rupees on the construction of rural areas with urban areas in the name of shining Punjab. It was to provide a better environment to the people by making it clean. However, due to the incompetence of the Chief Officer, Chief Engineer, and other officers of Zilla Council Sahiwal, rural area Chak No. 66 -12- L, City being a remote backward area from Chicha Watani, any political figure or MNA, and MPA is not focusing on the core problem of this village. The sewerage system that has been in existence for a long time has become rotten due to which the sewage system is inefficient and the boiling sewers are presenting the appearance of a dirty drain. It has become difficult for passers-by to live due to the stench and filth. Residents of the area say that Many times this problem arises. Being a backward village, the problems are not being solved. The villagers have been running this system with their help for a long time. Due to the incompetence of District Council Sahiwal officers, our village has turned into a pile of dirt for a long time and the sewerage system has become dysfunctional. The villagers have demanded that Commissioner Sahiwal and DC Sahiwal take notice.
